Trinity Cafe, an extension of Feeding Tampa Bay, is a free, full-service restaurant providing nutritious, chef-prepared meals to those in need 365 days a year. More than just food, Trinity Cafe nourishes connections and uplifts the spirits of its guests by offering a welcoming, dignified dining experience. On Saturday, December 20, 2025, volunteers from Alive Church will serve as wait staff at Trinity Cafe. Roles will include greeting and hosting guests, serving meals, refilling beverages, bussing tables, and assisting with restaurant tasks. This is an opportunity to bring dignity, hope, and encouragement to our neighbors in Tampa. We are deeply grateful to all of our Alive Church volunteers for giving your time and energy to serve our community in this meaningful way. Your presence makes a difference, and together we get to share the love of Christ through action. Thank you in advance for being the hands and feet of Jesus at Trinity Cafe. Volunteer Requirements: - Age 16+ - Maximum of 14 volunteers - Closed-toe shoes required (sneakers recommended). Open-toe shoes are not allowed. - Shirts with sleeves (no tank tops). Jeans or modest-length shorts are permitted. - Alive Church yellow shirts – TBD (volunteers should be prepared to wear if confirmed). - Volunteers must complete a liability waiver on-site. Parking Information: Parking is limited, so carpooling is highly recommended. Volunteers may enter the lot from Nebraska Ave. and park in available spaces. The volunteer entrance is at the back of the building, marked with a purple sign. Proceed through the double doors into the kitchen, then continue to the dining room. Overflow parking is available in the back of the O’Reilly’s parking lot.

This will consist of multiple activities, including sorting, packing, and stocking food that will be distributed to our local food pantries. This is a warehouse environment. Please wear closed toe shoes and dress appropriately. You are encouraged to wear your yellow serve Saturday shirt.

Meet us at Alive Church to pack bag lunches and load supplies. We will go downtown, fellowship, pray with the homeless, and offer lunches and donated clothing. Downtown, we meet in the public parking lot across from Food Max 404 S Main St Gainesville, FL 32601) near the District Court Building. Come Love Our City!

We will be sorting donations and restocking the boutique. We will also be assisting residents with their needs in the boutique, prayer request, and handing out water and snacks. This is a warehouse environment. Please dress appropriately. You are encouraged to wear your yellow serve Saturday shirt.

Paint the Town is an annual volunteer event hosted by the University Area Community Development Corporation (UACDC). UACDC's mission is children and family development, crime prevention, and economic/commerce growth. Its primary focus is the redevelopment and sustainability of the at-risk areas surrounding the Tampa campus of the University of South Florida. This outreach event gives us a chance to show God's love by meeting the needs of our Tampa neighbors. Join us as we work side-by-side to bring hope, beauty and support to our community. What we will be doing: - Painting projects - Planting/mulching - Litter pickup - Environmental debris cleanup - Assisting anywhere additional help is needed How to Sign Up: ***This event requires a multi-step signup. Please complete all steps to ensure you are fully registered.*** 1. Click "Add Me to Project" below to be added to the Alive Tampa volunteer list for this event. 2. Go to https://www.uacdc.org/ptt and click the "Register Today" button. 3. Complete the UACDC online Volunteer Release & Waiver of Liability. If you're on a mobile device, click "View Full Description" to see the waiver. 4. Once the waiver is complete, click "Sign-Up" at the bottom of the page and complete the requested information for each individual volunteering. Enter ALIVE CHURCH as your 'Organization / Service Club' on the sign up form. *For minors (under the age of 18), registration must be completed by a parent/guardian. Volunteer Requirements: - Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age to volunteer on their own, with waiver signed by parent/guardian. If under age 16, volunteers must have a parent/guardian present at ALL times. - All volunteers must complete the UACDC liability waiver. What to wear: - T-Shirts provided by UACDC.
