Paint the Town is an annual volunteer event hosted by the University Area Community Development Corporation (UACDC). UACDC's mission is children and family development, crime prevention, and economic/commerce growth. Its primary focus is the redevelopment and sustainability of the at-risk areas surrounding the Tampa campus of the University of South Florida. This outreach event gives us a chance to show God's love by meeting the needs of our Tampa neighbors. Join us as we work side-by-side to bring hope, beauty and support to our community. What we will be doing: - Painting projects - Planting/mulching - Litter pickup - Environmental debris cleanup - Assisting anywhere additional help is needed How to Sign Up: ***This event requires a multi-step signup. Please complete all steps to ensure you are fully registered.*** 1. Click "Add Me to Project" below to be added to the Alive Tampa volunteer list for this event. 2. Go to https://www.uacdc.org/ptt and click the "Register Today" button. 3. Complete the UACDC online Volunteer Release & Waiver of Liability. Once the waiver is complete, click "Sign-Up" at the bottom of the page and complete the requested information for each individual volunteering. Enter ALIVE CHURCH as your 'Organization / Service Club' on the sign up form. *For minors (under the age of 18), registration must be completed by a parent/guardian. Volunteer Requirements: - Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age to volunteer on their own, with waiver signed by parent/guardian. If under age 16, volunteers must have a parent/guardian present at ALL times. - All volunteers must complete the UACDC liability waiver. What to wear: - T-Shirts provided by UACDC.
